I am elated to share that Abby Ivory has joined Capita’s governing Board of Directors with effect from August 17, 2020.

Abby currently works as Director of Strategic Initiatives at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.

She also heads an initiative called Ivory Innovations which is focused on bringing together stakeholders of public and private organizations to support solutions to the national housing affordability crisis, as well as educating students about the problem and ways to take action.

Prior to her current role she worked on the Impact Investing team for Sorenson Impact and worked with companies seeking to drive social impact as well as generate a return for their investors. While at Sorenson she ran the student program and multiple large research based initiatives for external clients.  In 2016, she earned an MBA from the University of Utah with an emphasis in sustainability.

To Capita, Abby brings the experience of a seasoned leader and innovator committed to developing solutions to some of our most complex global challenges and, critically, to shaping and supporting the next generation of impact-driven changemakers. We warmly welcome her to our Board of Directors.
